Visitors to Cambridge could be interested in heading to a new exhibition, which begins today (August 9th).

The Beautiful Light display is taking place at ArtCell in the Cancer Research UK - Cancer Research Institute.

It will run until September 1st and is open from 10:00 until 17:00 BST, showing a series of stunning landscape images by Jane Goodall.

Those on a luxury mini coach break to Cambridge on August 18th and 19th or 24th and 25th will be able to get a special treat as Ms Goodall herself will be present.

The images on show "reveal fleeting moments of changing light and tides", Visit Cambridge said.

They also feature abstract and surreal depictions of landscapes created throughout five years of work from the debutant exhibitor.

It is just one example of many displays of art around the city, with St Edmunds Cathedral also hosting a number of shows throughout August and September.
