Warwick Castle - a site popular among those on luxury coach tours - is set to host a series of special events this month.

Visitors to the attraction may feel like they have stepped back in time as the Warwick Warriors team flex their muscles and show their skills in the Jousting at Sunset celebrations, which will take place every Saturday through August.

Taking place from 18:30 BST until 22:30, the contest will be a great display of medieval fighting techniques and weaponry.

As well as the jousting knights, guests will be able to marvel over the world's largest siege machine - the Warwick Castle Trebuchet.

There will be plenty of entertainment for the entire family, with the much-loved attraction providing birds of prey displays, as well as numerous storytelling knights and princesses.

Those who prefer things a little scarier could be interested in the terrifying Dungeons After Dark Tour, which Warwick Castle is also laying on this month.
