Anyone who has been on luxury coach tours to Bath will know it is a pleasurable city to explore.
However, a team of local women are planning to do things a little differently this Saturday (September 11th) to raise cash for charity.
According to thisiswiltshire.co.uk, a sponsored eight-kilometre walk around the city will take place at midnight to raise money for a local hospice.
Dorothy House hospice will benefit from an event which last year saw £120,000 raised and the more than 1,200 participants taking part this year will be hoping to generate even more funding.
The scenic walk will take in numerous famous sites, including the Royal Crescent, Great Pulteney Street and Royal Victoria Park.
"We're absolutely thrilled with the response to this year's Midnight Walk and very much looking forward to a great girls' night out," organiser Philippa Watson told the news provider.
She added that locals who spot the ladies walking around the city should give them a wave and offer to sponsor anyone they know who is taking part.
In other news, Bath Theatre Royal is to reopen tonight, following a £3 million refurbishment, BBC News reported.
