The city of Bath is hoping to encourage residents and visitors to use its cycle routes from Green Park Station.
Those without bikes can rent one from Avon Valley Wheels before taking to the Bristol and Bath Railway Path, among other trails, BBC News reported.
Bath and North East Somerset Council is backing the scheme, with councillor Terry Gazzard telling the news provider that the organisation wants everyone to be able to access the programme.
"[The council] wants everyone to have the chance to get active and cycling is a great way to improve health and fitness and promotes sustainable means of transport in the long term," he said.
Organised rides will run on August 19th from 10:00 BST and cost just £2 if you bring your own bike and an extra £1.50 if you wish to hire one.
Avon Valley Wheels cycling leader Tom Webster added that cycling is a great way to meet new people and get fit.
Bath is a popular destination for those on luxury coach tours, with the UK's only hot spring one of the focal points of the city's tourism industry.
