Those on luxury coach tours to Bath today (September 7th) will be able to check out the reopening of one of the city's famous landmarks.
The 205-year-old Bath Theatre Royal is set to open its doors for the first time since July after a £3 million refurbishment, BBC News reported.
As part of the work on the Grade II listed building, the disabled access has been upgraded and new bars installed.
The most noticeable changes will be in the foyer, which has been extended and remodelled and will welcome guests to a showing of The Rivals this evening.
"Working on cherished buildings of historic significance will always pose a challenge and in the case of the Theatre Royal Bath, this was made all the more difficult as we only had a two-month period of complete closure to undertake the work," Derek Quinn told the news provider.
Mr Quinn is a representative of Midas - the firm which carried out the work - and added that it was "proud" to be involved with the famous venue.
Upcoming events at the Bath Theatre Royal include The Magic of Motown, The Country Girl and Pam Ayers.
