The city of Bath is set to host a special event this week that is likely to attract visitors from all over the south-west and surrounding areas.
From Friday (September 3rd), the National Gardening Show takes place at The Bath & West Showground.
The three-day exhibition will see attendees treated to fine displays of flowers, as well as a showcase of the best fruit and vegetables grown by some of the country's top gardeners.
Television experts and horticultural specialists will be on hand to distribute advice to those who want to boost the success of their own garden.
It is the 14th consecutive year the show has taken place at the Bath venue and the 2010 instalment looks set to be a treat for guests.
The ever-popular Scarecrow Competition will be judged in the woodland area, while the animal and poultry show will also provide entertainment for the kids.
As part of the event, the National Dahlia Show will take place in the Showering Pavilion, while the National Giant Vegetable Competition is likely to draw the crowds once more.
In other news, BBC News reported that a Bath museum has been given thousands of pounds for a reconstruction programme.
