Always a popular destination for luxury coach tours, Cambridge is home to many great attractions, not least its numerous galleries and museums.

Among the exhibitions currently on offer is Rapunzel's Shout - Notes of a Trainee Firefighter, which was created by artist and firefighter Emily Haysom.

According to Visit Cambridgeshire, the display can be seen at the Babylon Gallery in Waterside and features a number of curious pieces from the rising star.

Ms Haysom benefited from an Arts Council-funded residency with Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service and built the exhibit around her experiences as a developing female firefighter.

Meanwhile, nearby Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery is also hosting a special display at the moment called the Suffolk Showcase.

Open to all Suffolk-based artists aged 16 and over, the exhibition is aimed at finding talent in the area.

It takes the form of a contest, the winner of which will be decided by Glasgow School of Art director of exhibitions Jenny Brownrigg and Wysing Arts artist Michael Brennand-Wood.

Cambridge is famous for its university buildings and ancient churches, which can be seen on a guided tour.
