Those on a luxury coach tour to Oxford planning to visit the University Museum of Natural History might notice one of the exhibitions before they even enter the building.
Set up earlier this year and running until July 31st 2011, the Ghost Forest exhibit is intended to highlight the impact of deforestation on the earth's climate, biodiversity and the livelihood of indigenous populations, Visit Oxford explained.
Designed by artist Angela Palmer, the display is erected in the grounds of the museum and formed of a group of huge primary rainforest tree stumps, many of which have their buttress roots still intact.
Visitors can examine the exhibition on the lawn in front of the building before they enter, giving them a chance to ponder mankind's impact on some of the world's most important environmental landscapes.
Meanwhile, Visit Oxford has also published a list of its top ten things to do during a visit to the city.
It included guided tours and trips on the river.
