Day one
05.00hrs London pick ups begin.
*Ensure you have your passport and any relevant travel documentation with you in your hand luggage, passengers without valid passports will not be able to travel*
We make our journey to Dover for our ferry crossing.
08.30hrs Dover to Calais ferry crossing.
11.00hrs Upon arrival into Calais, we commence our onward journey through France and into Germany with comfort stops en route.
17.30hrs Approximate time of arrival at our hotel. Dinner upon arrival. The evening is at leisure to enjoy the free bar!
Day Two
08.30hrs We join the coach and travel to Boppard for our Rhine River cruise.
10.00hrs Boat cruise on the River Rhine.
You’ll see impressive hillside fortresses, as well as the famous Lorelei Rock. After our cruise we head to Rudesheim. Upon arrival we visit a typical wine house. Here you will have the chance to sample some local wines.
The afternoon is free to explore this beautiful town.
Return to the hotel - dinner and free bar upon arrival.
Day Three
09.00hrs We depart the hotel for a full day tour through the Moselle Valley the centre of excellent German wine.
Free evening bar and dinner.
Day Four
09.00hrs Departure from our hotel and begin our journey into Belgium and the majestic city of Ghent.
15.00hrs We leave Ghent and journey on to Calais for our return ferry crossing.
19.55hrs Calais to Dover ferry crossing.
23.00hrs Approximate time of arrival into central London.

The Rhineland:
The Rhineland (Rheinland in German) is the general name for the land on both sides of the river Rhine in the west of Germany.
The Moselle valley is a region in north-eastern France, south-western Germany, and eastern Luxembourg, centred on the river valley formed by the Moselle. The Moselle runs through, and along the borders of, the three different countries, and drains a fourth, Belgium. The Moselle has developed a strong tourism industry around its reputation as a rural idyll.

The Rhine is one of the longest and most important rivers in Europe at 1,320 kilometres (820 mi), with an average discharge of more than 2,000 cubic meters per second. The name of the Rhine comes from the archaic German Rhine, The Reno River in Italy shares the same etymology.
Ghent, Belgium:
Ghent is a city and a municipality located in Flanders, Belgium. It is the capital and biggest city of the East Flanders province. The city started as a settlement at the confluence of the Rivers Scheldt and Lys and in the Middle Ages became one of the largest and richest cities of northern Europe. Today it is a busy city with a port and a university. |
