Described as "Venice of the North," Brugge boasts a labyrinth of canals which dissect the medieval splendour of it's buildings. Brugge boasts cathedrals and galleries, pedestrianised paved streets, plus bars and restaurants in the central square. It's a "fairytale" experience for any visitor. We combine this tour with an overnight stay at the seaside resort of Oostende so you can soak up some sun and also find out a lot more about the history of WW1 and Ypres.

 Day One - Saturday
06.00hrs
London Pick-ups  (Earls Court, Baker Street, Lewisham).  

The description & location of your pick up point is found on the top of your E-Ticket.  We recommend you arrive at your departure/pick up point at least 10 minutes prior to your tour ensure you do not miss your tour!  You must ensure you go to your booked pick up point as you may not be able to board at another location.

09.25hrs Dover to Calais ferry crossing with Sea France.
12.00hrs Arrive Calais - France and commence the journey to Belgium.
13.30hrs Arrive in Brugge. You'll have free time to enjoy a late lunch and explore this beautiful town! Perhaps try a Belgian fruit beer with your lunch or take a horse and cart around the town!
18.00hrs Depart Brugge and make our journey to the Belgian seaside resort of Oostende.

After checking in to our centrally located hotel, the rest of the
evening is at leisure to explore the nightlife of this lovely seaside town!

Day Two - Sunday
After breakfast at your hotel why not head down to the beach to soak up some sun. Take a leisurely walk and enjoy the laid back vibes!
11:00hrs We depart Oostende for Tyne Cot the largest allied WW1 Cemetary in Europe. After paying our respects we head over to Ypres where free time will be allocated for lunch and to explore the fantastic WW1 museum and Menin Gate - a huge memorial to those that died during WW1 - 15,000 names are listed.
17:00hrs Depart Ypres for our return journey to Calais.
19.20hrs Calais to Dover crossing.
23.00hrs Approximate arrival time in London.

About Brugge:
Known as the Venice of the North, Bruges is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Bruges (Dutch: Brugge) is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is located in the northwest of the country.

It was a justified motive that prompted UNESCO to include the entire historical city centre on the World Heritage list in 2000. Walking along the maze of winding cobbled alleys and romantic canals, you imagine yourself to be in medieval times. The wealth of museums is a striking image of this city's stirring history. Bruges is also home to contemporary culture, such as the new Concert Hall, which is one of the most prominent music complexes in Flanders.

About Oostende:
Ostend is a Belgian city and municipality located in the Flemish province of West Flanders. It comprises the boroughs of Mariakerke, Stene and Zandvoorde, and the city of Ostend proper – the largest on the Belgian coast.
It is famous for its sea-side esplanade, pier and fine-sand beaches.
Ostend is visited by many 'day' tourists, especially during July and August. Tourists from the Belgian inland and foreigners alike mostly arrive by train and head for the closest beach area from the station (kleinstrand). The locals and other residents in Belgium usually occupy the larger beach (grootstrand). Ostend is widely visited by British, Germans, French and Dutch.
