Diksmuide Belgiums Beer Festival - October

OUR ANNUAL VISIT TO THE DIKSMUIDE BEER FESTIVAL!

Each autumn throughout the hop growing areas of Europe, festivals take place to celebrate the successful hop harvest. Diksmuide in Belgium has been host to such festivities for over thirty years. Come with us to enjoy Oompagh bands, singing and dancing the night away while the beer is flowing in October!

Anderson Tours' two day package departs from London on Saturday mornings throughout October. Our overnight hotel is situated in Ostend, a seaside town. This tour is a great introduction to the chocolate, waffles, and beer that Belgium is well known for!

Tour Includes:
Return luxury coach travel and Dover - Calais ferry crossings
One night B&B hotel accommodation in Ostend (all rooms ensuite)
Free Time in Ostend Saturday afternoon.
Entrance to the Diksmuide Beer Festival
Day trip to Brugge

DAY ONE - Saturday
06.00hrs London pick ups begin (Earls Court 6.00am and Baker Street 6.15am)

The description & location of your pick up point is found on the top of your E-Ticket.

We recommend you arrive at your departure/pick up point at least 10 minutes prior to departure to ensure that you do not miss your tour! 

09.55hrs Dover – Calais ferry crossing.
12.30hrs Arrive in Calais and commence the journey to Ostend.
13.45hrs Approximate time of arrival at hotel in Ostend and check in. Enjoy some free time exploring Ostend.
18.00hrs Departure from our hotel to make the short journey to Diksmuide where you will have time to taste and enjoy the Belgian beers.
23.45hrs Meet the coach at the pre-arranged point for the return journey to the hotel.

DAY TWO - Sunday
10.00hrs After breakfast we check out of the hotel and make the short journey to Brugge. Upon arrival in Brugge you can explore this gorgeous Belgian town and relax! Perhaps sample a few more local beers!!

The rest of the afternoon is at leisure in Brugge.

17.00hrs Depart Brugge and begin the journey back to Calais.
19.55hrs Depart Calais for the ferry crossing back to Dover.
23.00hrs Approximate time of arrival back in to central London.

About Diksmuide Beer Festival
Diksmuide is a Belgian city in the Flemish province of West Flanders.

Every year the city hosts its annual  Beer Festival which attracts visitors to this small and historic town near Ostend.

The Belgians believe that a Beer Festival needs the best beers served at a tables, so they will serve the most famous beers for you during the Saturday evening. Lager, dark beer, special beer and even fruit beer!
